2000 Cordoba .cool S bought from new. I'm the only owner, serviced every year. Finally failed MOT with a list of fixes that aren't worth it.

Does anyone want to better the WeBuyAnyCar offer of £470 and take it off me?
I looked in front of the radiator as I saw that some VW's have it there on various Youtube instructionsals, but it's not there (Can see clearly when you lift out the 'S' badge). So I'll try and find it behind the wing mirror.
I see there is a little nub sticking out of the mirror housing - so...
Anyone ever replaced the air temperature sensor (not the engine coolant temp sensor)? I'm curious to know where it is and how to replace.
Mine is actually a Cordoba 2000 not an Ibiza but I figured I might get more views on here, and hopefully the parts are the same!
I recently tried a cheap OBDII scanner off Amazon only to find it wasn't compatible with my 2000 Codroba, even though it had the right shaped connector.
Is this VCDS what I should have got?
Anyone know what would work with a 2000 model that apparently is not OBDii compatible?
I've got a 2000 Cordoba, done around 90K and rarely see another in the UK. Then the other day in a large car parl I saw one a year older than mine, same colour! No idea who owed it but would have liked to chat with them!
Seat Cordoba 1.6 .cool S (2000) Still running great mechanically but for years has had that well-known issue of the radio coming on by itself, requiring me to remove the blue fuse when the car was not is use, as a precaution.
In recent months, (with the fuse in) the air con started firing up by...
So I have this 2000 Cordoba on about 69k miles and generally good condition, serviced every year from new. The problem: Car starts fine, idles fine, revs fine and gets me to work. I drive 50 mins on the motorway. Then at the very end of the journey after junction stops etc. Just as I park up...
Annoying this. The stereo headunit seems to work fine but will die after a day or so. Every time it dies, I can revive it by disconnecting the power at the back and reconnecting it. Then it'll work fine (aircon, radio, cassette all fine) for another day or 2 and then die again.
Annoying because...
Found a quick fix for the wiper linkage
Search for "Wiper Linkage Repair Clip" on youtube.
Halfords also do a version of the clip. Obviously a common problem.

Reviving this thread but my wipers have this same problem. I can also 'snap' them back together bit is there a simple fix I can attempt without replacing the arms?
Well remarkably after some poking around, disconnecting and reconnecting the unit seemed to have brought it back to life. The only problem now is that when I turn the ignition off, the red backlight flashes non-stop every second or so. The unit doesn't switch on it's just the backlight. Will...

I fixed the wiper problem - turns out the linkage to the other wiper was literally separated and I've just reattached it, so it wasn't a related electrical fault.
The stereo/air con seems dead but I've managed to take out the head unit and will have a look to investigate!

Hi, new user here. This relates to a 2000 Cordoba .cool/S but I'm pretty sure the equip is the same as the Ibiza so I'm posting here too:
I know there is a known electrical issue with the radio/aircon console. I used to have it come on by itself and ended up taking out the fuse.

Hi, new user here. 2000 Cordoba .cool
I know there is a known electrical issue with the radio/aircon console. I used to have it come on by itself and ended up taking out the fuse.
The problem suddenly disppeared when I had a new alternator fitted recently and everything was hunky dory for...
