My 2004 Mk1 Cupra TDi has just failed its MOT as the previous owner has removed the cat. Just for my own knowledge ... would the cat of been required for the car to have passed its previous MOT ??

Is this easy? The passenger side front regulator appears to have gone on the drive into work this morning. I'm trying to also lay my hands on the part as everyone I've tried in Stockton-On-Tees, is saying "we use genuine SEAT parts and they have to be ordered from Germany"
