I'm not sure to be honest, there are multiple options.

"A lower engine mount bush insert can be one of the most rewarding yet cheapest upgrades you can do to your car. These really help to reduce transmission slop (often felt when going on and off the throttle)...
I've never had an issue with warped discs in the 27k they've done.
The only issue I did have was the squealing at low speed which is caused by the OEM pads - it's a common issue across other VAG cars that are using this setup, there's a fair few topics on the TTRS/RS forums.
I changed mine to...
It’ll likely need reprogramming - although they’re practically the same, I would be very surprised if there aren’t a number of variables that differ between the two, from a software point of view.
You’ll be best of asking the company direct and confirming it with them.
@Jimbobcook and @Syphon spent about 4 hours last year trying to position the cars on stand for that extra bit of ka-chow... :roflmao:
(Definitely haven’t over exaggerated in the slightest...)
I’ll be getting my tickets booked this week.
@Jimbobcook it may be worth getting a rough plan of how the cars will be positioned when we have numbers, I can’t be doing with another replay of last year... :roflmao:
Definitely not my cup of tea, even if it kept the 6 cylinder the design is just woeful.
@simonali I think he's referring to the AWD coming into play when pushing on.
That's the one, I'm pretty sure with that spacing the tyres would be more or less sticking out the arches... not my thing :headhurt:
I've linked the spacers below mate.
CLP Spacer Package
I've seen people run 15mm on the rear, but they've mentioned that they do get the odd bit of rub on rough/bumpy roads.
CLP are a VAG and BMW specialist in Sheffield - I use them for fitting parts and servicing, they're about a 100 mile round trip for me; highly recommend them if you're local
CLP do a spacer package which includes the extended bolts and locking bolts if required.
I believe most people run 11mm up front and 12mm on the rear - that sits them fairly square with no rub.
Great news Andy!
Hows the fitting of the new base? Mine was a bit baggy for a few days, but fits perfect now.
It’s a shame that we have to be so persistent to have them resolve an issue with their product, especially when it’s the result of a material that is clearly not fit for purpose.
Mine where pretty creased when I first bought the car, so I think the previous owner did little to actually look after them and eventually they split.
I wouldn't let it put you off though, as long as you look after them they'll be fine - quick wipe down once a week and don't sit on the bolster...
I used Chipex on my old Oryx White GTI and the paint match was fairly good - but would be noticeable in certain lights, as expected.
When I'm back from work I'll see if I can find the before and after.
It's very hit and miss and completely down to the dealerships discretion - SEAT seem to have minimal influence on them as well.
If I was in your position, I'd twist their arm and threaten to return/cancel collection of the car unless the seats are fixed.
From what I've been told by CLP, it's used as a corrosion inhibitor and from the sounds of it, the issue has been blown way out of proportion.
If you remove it, you'll likely have to replace the coolant more regular.
I'll personally be leaving mine in, it's there for a reason and I'd rather...
I totally agree, as long as there's no signs of damage, I'm sure they'll sort it for you.
The newer Golfs have the sensor built into the VW badge now - likely due to this.
I have a Cobra on mine and the quality is on par with Milltek and Scorpion - if not better than the Milltek, I found the welds to rust quite bad and fairly fast.
I had a res-delete prior to getting the Cobra and the drone drove me insane after a while - so I personally wouldn't recommend one.
I had this on my GTI, it would clear itself after a while but would always come back.
I was told it was due to the front sensor needing to be re-aligned, which can only be done at a dealership at the cost of a kidney.
There's two bolts that hold the sensor on, make sure they're nipped up and...
