I’ve now replaced the MAP sensor (not fun trying to get that out with the rads/intercooler in place) and replaced the exhaust pressure sensor, with no luck. Tried a vacuum test on the turbo actuator, and the actuator rod moves as vacuum is applied so now I’m stuck?!

Well it was working fine for just over two years I’ve had it, only boost related issue I’ve had is a failed jubilee clip causing a leak on the intake side, but that didn’t give any error codes.

Have you considered tidying up and spraying/powder coating the existing parts?

Exact same issue with mine, drivers side. It's sounds as if the damper/spring assembly bolts are not tight, allowing the whole thing to knock in the strut tower! Sounds awful from outside the car.

I think that's the rear wiper mechanism, the part you are looking for will be the bit that attaches to the catch on the car body that holds the boot closed. Its a relatively small piece, should be the only part visible when the the boot trim is in place.

I think it's a similar problem that affects the doors, where the factory lubrication dries up on the internals of the release mechanisms of internal door modules. I'm pretty sure they are fairly cheap and easy to replace the boot modules, but check you are getting power there first.

I found a YouTube vid and the guy removed the caliper sliders with a hex key, they wouldn't budge using my normal Allan keys, so went out and bought 7mm hex bit. Pissed down all afternoon so have not tried it, but the Allan key seemed to fit well. They seem solid when trying to turn them.
