Most common faults are the thermostat and water pump but mine has been fine and is a 2016. It’s just luck really. I wouldn’t take out an extended warranty unless it’s pretty cheap, as the car will have 1 years approved used warranty anyway if bought from a SEAT dealer.

I got a new one as it’s £5 and if the the other one does break then you’re stuffed otherwise. Can always save it until it is required.

Carista diags are a load of rubbish. Ignore. And get it checked using proper software/ at a dealer before warranty is out. Any issues they should fix under warranty.
