    Swapping bulbs to LED's?

If the DRLs are P21W, then take a look at these - http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/mtec-mini-auto-bulbs/382-p21w-xenon-bulbs/mtec-xenon-super-white-chrome-style-natural-glass-382-p21w-12v-p-377.html?osCsid=ikt9pc5onj5khvm7ui4rf7n6agugc9h4 Standard bulbs so no resistors required. Wanted something...

    Washer warning

It seems very hit or miss whether you get a warning light or not. My MY06 Sport with Bluetooth (so larger display) doesn't have any warning light for low washer fluid.

    Ticking sound from glovebox

Hmm - did a search and didn't see that thread. Oh well seems like a common issue and not a major fault - so will leave it for now anyway, until it annoys me too much.

    Ticking sound from glovebox

Sometimes, mainly in the mornings, and always when the ignition is at the 1st position (ie electrics on) there's a ticking noise coming from the glovebox. As it doesn't seem to happen in the evenings on the way home from work, I've assumed that it's something temperature related. It's done...

    Bluetooth & Ipod connection

Only 1 phone can be paired at a time - the phonebook is uploaded each time the phone is connected, so that if you connect a different phone then that one will be uploaded (if the phone is supported for that). The iPod connection I have lets you select 5 playlists (buttons 1 - 5 on the head...

    SEAT Bluetooth Compatability List

Palm Treo 650 (Palm O/S) - it's "sort of compatible"! We were using Good Link software to allow Exchange synchronisation which takes over some of the default apps on the Treo (like contacts) so without this it may be easier. However, the below method will likely work irrespective of what...

Leon FR with or without mudflaps? Help

The instructions that came in the box with the flaps are fairly clear - you remove 3 screws and line up the flaps and screw them on. Front ones have a clip near the top that is used to secure the top part. To remove the existing screws you'll need a T25 torx screwdriver, to fit the flaps need...

Leon FR with or without mudflaps? Help

I learned my lesson the hard way - washed the car the other week (first time in a while) and saw red flecks of paint all the way along the side of the car. [:@] Colour was similar to the red the councils use to paint speed humps etc. Have the flaps fitted now, took about 30 minutes all in...

    Steering Rack replacement

Just to add my experience.... Had the steering rack replaced under warranty for the usual reasons, since it was replaced the steering wasn't the same - car was pulling to the right when the steering wheel was held centred. Took the car into the dealership (different one to the one who...

    Car Services Forfar, Useless

I'm not too impressed with them either - at my service asked them to install iPod connection and it wasn't connected up properly (needed to be grounded - apparently they didn't know that). Also had to get the steering rack replaced under warranty last week - steering is a lot stiffer and...

    Washer Level Warning

Hmmm. I've got the Bluetooth option as well so did expect something to appear on the display when the washer bottled was empty - but nothing. It's more a nice to have than essential, might have another chat with the dealer and see if it's something that can be activated easily.

    Washer Level Warning

Mine has the cruise control light when cruise is activated, not just when the switch is set to on position - when I was talking to the garage the other day about the washer fluid, they did say that some cars don't have a cruise control light whereas others do, didn't say what the criteria for...

    Condensation on windows

Back from the garage today - according to them, excess water will flow down the windows through the door as designed so when the windows are put down they are likely to get wet on both sides. The Ibiza courtesy car I had seemed to have the same problem - windows were quite streaky which I get...

    Condensation on windows

I don't have a condensation problem ( similar age / mileage to above) but I do have wet windows on the inside. Car going in for service tomorrow so will see if they are aware of anything that could be causing this - but from all the above posts sounds unlikely and that this is just a design issue.

    Washer Level Warning

Would have thought that the Sport (being top of the range at the time) would have had it.

    Washer Level Warning

I've got the MFD and don't get a warning about low washer fluid levels or light on the dash. Car going in for service in next couple of weeks so will get the garage to look at it then, in the manual it does state "depending on model version".

    Stick on Number Plate Issues

I got some plate fixing pads from Halfords - think they were the 5 or 6mm ones, they're for curved panels. Stuck them on either end of the number plate and it's worked a treat, feels more secure now.

    Bluetooth Compatibilty

Some phones do ring through the speakers - my new SE K750i doesn't, but my work Palm Treo and an older Nokia 6310i both ring through the speakers as well as displaying the incoming call. Must depend on the firmware on the phone - which would explain why the 6310i I have rings through yet...

    Leon Kit/MP3

I have a Palm Treo 650 through work and initially had problems with the bluetooth and the Treo - eventually managed to get it to stay connected to the car kit, but not able to read entries off the phonebook. Not sure what functions Windows Mobile smartphones have, but with the Treo I had to...

    Condensation in headlights?

Yeah, I've got that - seems to be a common problem with Seats. Doesn't take too long to clear up tho. Passat that we've got also has problem with condensation but not to the same extent.
