From Aliexpress. Cost about 15 quid and took around 2 weeks from China. They were a little fiddly at first. The trick is to put the bottom part of the dsg paddle in first then click the top into place. Fit solid now and work well!
Its here and I love it. Fitted a TRC splitter as soon as it arrived. Very quick and sure footed car. Haven't really found anything I don't like about yet.....the dsg is maybe slightly jerky around town? That's about it though. Love the colour too...
Get your wheel balance checked and see if that cures it. Quite often stick on weights will fall off causing vibration. If that doesn't cure it get a 4 wheel alignment done
Ok so got 15 quid a month off my lease and I've accepted it......definately growing on me now as there do seem to be millions of mystery blue ones about
Cheers guys. The idea is growing on me. I've just had a couple of months of getting used to the idea it will be blue. The silver makes it look very subtle so maybe I'll grow to like it.....doesn't look like I have much choice anyway. I'll try asking for a discount, cant hurt to ask
I originally ordered my Cupra St 4drive in Urban silver then changed it to Mystery blue this was beginning of Feb. Just had a call from leasing options to say they forgot to change the colour and it's too late as the car is/has been built. My options are 1. let them re-order in Mystery blue (not...
I'm not thinking about removing the gpfs which look to be towards the front of the car. I'm thinking about removing the two rear boxes and having straight through pipes fitted. If that is too loud or drony I could always have a small resonator added after the gpfs?
I've got the above on order. It's a factory order should be here late may. I'm assuming it will have the twin gpf. Everything I'm reading suggests it'll sound a bit crap. I'm a bit gutted as it's a performance car and I want it to sound like one. There seem to be millions of threads around about...
I've got one on order. I'm thinking that maybe having the rear resonators removed and replaced with straight through pipes would give it a bit more noise?
Yes police, our driving school use them and i spent a couple of weeks driving the vrs at silly speeds along with the superb. Superb was quicker on paper but didn't feel quicker and needed filling twice a day! I really liked it but it felt a bit soft and didn't feel like a 3.6 v6 however the 4x4...
I use VRS's at work. Superb cars for the money and nearly got one. But a lease deal on a Leon cupra st 4drive was pennies a month cheaper so that's what I'm getting. The VRS's we use are fantastic cars though and they are a fair bit bigger than the Leon. Personally I'd rather have a manual on...
Thank you....I'll look into a hard wire kit. Just don't want to do to much as it's a lease so it's got to go back after 3 years although if I like it as much as I expect to I may try and buy it
Thanks for the replies.
I've seen pictures of a couple under the heating controls but I've also seen a picture of one with a couple in the glove box. No big deal just interested and working out how I'm going to fit a dash cam.
Sounds like the delivery estimate I've had is about right then...
