Has anyone used wireless charging on a phone that's longer than approx the 580 mm max size of the phone holder in the car as most phones are now longer than this so are we stuck with using older and smaller phones to utilise wireless charging?

As title says. Ive paid a small deposit on a Cupra lux 290 but I'm wondering if and when the MK4 appears will it perhaps have 350 hp and other bits making me regret my purchase. Does anyone here know when we'll be able to order a MK4 and what it'll cost? Thanks
