Do all Leon FR 1.5eTSI First Editions come with DCC - Dynamic Chassis Control ? and if so is it like the Golf Mk 8 with about 15 settings ?
This is a quite a biggy for me and it's hard to tell from adverts (used cars) as many don't mention DCC in the text / features / spec details.
Not all lease companies will allow you to buy the car at the end of the lease. I tried and got the following response :-
" Thank you for contacting us.
Unfortunately we are unable to sell you the vehicle you currently hire from us as you have a Personal Contract Hire Agreement.
Selling a...
As above ... it was the top of the range model at the time with all the additional options above as standard equipment.
On a lease at the time (ordered Spring 2019) it was well worth it IMHO, as it cost only £10 more a month (y)
Just in case anybody is looking for a nice 2 year old (69 Reg) Leon Cupra Lux 290 I'm pretty sure (99.99% !!) this is my old one just gone on sale

It will have a reg. starting YK69 .... ...
I've not had any rattles with my Cupra so far - dash or door cards.
I'm surprised your Golf dealer couldn't fix the rattle on your GTi - it's a common problem as you say, and dealers have a fix for this. You can always adjust the soundaktor volume % down too with VCDS or OBDeleven.
I agree with the above in answer to your questions.
I'm getting around 20mpg commuting into city centre and back (short 5 miles) and around 34mpg on longer motorway runs.
Comfort is pretty good for me using Comfort mode and or set as comfort in Individual mode.
Handling is great IMHO. Best...
Another thing to note with VWFS is that they will adjust the monthly payment if your annual mileage changes. Similar to the above lease extension I emailed them to inform them that my total annual mileage would average 5000 per annum rather than the original 10,000. They adjusted the agreement...
One more thing I do to minimise this (as well as keeping the glass very clean & keeping the A/C on auto full time) is to turn up the heater to the highest setting and the fan to very high on a long drive and open all the windows a crack. Yes it gets a bit unbearably hot but it does dry out the...
It seems to be the case with all types of insurance at the moment that you need to swap companies nearly every year to get the lowest, most competitive quotes. Staying loyal just doesn't pay !
Best option I've found (for me anyway - MY19 Cupra) is to get into the habit of turning the engine on, choosing my mode for the journey ahead and (usually) then disabling Stop Start.
Reason : the later cars do not save the full last settings of certain modes.
Only had the car (Cupra Lux) since 9th Sept but loving it overall ... and very impressed after coming from 3 Golf R's in a row ! For the current lease prices it's great value IMHO with all the standard kit (+ metallic paint), and the main reason I didn't opt for another Golf R which would...
What happens to your (lease broker) deposit etc. when you cancel your lease order ? Do they willingly accept you are not prepared to wait and pay it back to you ?
The good thing about DSG is all the various options you can choose depending on mood and road type.
So no fixed way for me, but usually :
City Centre commute - generally D mode
A & B Roads - Full Manual Mode using the paddles after flicking left from S mode with occasional use of S mode at...
