Hi
I have misplaced my spare key for my Leon Mk3.
Can a spare key be purchased off eBay and programmed from the car? (I will get the blade cut).
just wondering if anyone knows? Or is it a main dealer job?
Thanks
Danny
Haha yeah it’s hard getting used to change.
When I get in my partners manual car I sometimes break and forget to put the clutch in because I’m used to my DSG.

Mine did it at 85 it was in the menus. Think it’s under driver assistance or something like that and then speed warning

Yeah he may not have a generic map so he is going to read yours and then play with the values for boost, timing, air fuel/ratio etc.
But without it going on your car and you driving it, you won’t know if it’s any good or too much like my incident.
Sounds like you know what your doing just be...
However they may tweak the generic map. I remember getting my TT done a few years back and when they (protune) put the map on I couldn’t put my foot down without wheel spin.
They then tweaked the map and turned a few things down. This made it a lot better and driveable.
So it may be that...
Hi
To be honest unless you have the software and tools. I don’t think you can tell. Usually it will be a generic map from the vag group for your engine and they will flash your ecu with that.
Unless you are going somewhere to have your car on a rolling road and played with to be mapped I...
Yes I literally picked the first ones I came to. Didn’t read the full original post as I’m on Tapatalk and it’s miles up the page.
You can get ones that screw on tight with grub screws also that don’t have to be “stuck” and fall off but you have to have a certain DSG paddle to begin with...
I was the same. I assumed they were just there....... seems odd in 2019. [emoji23]
You can just google kisstory and right click and save from images. Should work.

Was just showing a cheaper alternative to 200 quid ones. Also if the tape holds on number plates I am all sure it will hold these on.
I guess a few people won’t want to remove their airbag etc to fit them.
These will fit the Cupra unless the Cupra has different dsg paddles which I guess it...
They do these on eBay. They just stick to the original paddles as extensions. There is a few on there around £30.

Hi
I guess you will have to get a full Leon or Cupra logo and just edit them in to individual letters. Then save them as individual pictures.

Hi
I got mine from Wikipedia if I remember correctly and they loaded on.
You go to radio and setup and it’s in there. I think it says manage logos. Then you can just go through to your pen drive using the on screen file system.
Hope that helps as trying to remember as not near car.
Danny...
Hi
I just put them all on a pen drive and then had to go through the menus on the radio settings to add them individually.
It’s a pain but doesn’t take long and once done they stay there without being on a pen drive.

I have just purchased some black aero skirts from eBay I will be fitting them later today or tomorrow. I’ll post some pics!
I’d also go with the standard seat kit as it will fit wel and i think it looks good!
