Yeah I get that. Kinda thought it was the same kind of latch on the VW but I might be wrong..

Sounds a bit mental but saw a VW specialist doing pop out cameras that hide behind the VW logo rear latch. Pop it into reverse, the logo lifts up and out pops the camera. Have seen this working on beemers when parking and it looks great. Anyone do a Seat version?

Had a similar problem- went back to dealership and needed s new latch under warranty. All fine now. 18 plate ST.

Poss the angle- I deffo feel like my leon is a bit bigger inside at least. Boys seem to have a bit more legroom in the back for sure.

Whereabouts are the screws then?

Deffo looks much better! Used a t7 which seemed to be the best fit but unfortunately sheared the screw head off. Still- it's enough to secure the new end piece.

Have a similar/the same system in our old focus- quite freaky how good it is.

I was thinking that might have been bodegeable to provide a cold air feed for it but see you've removed it completely. Do you still get plenty of airflow in there then? Good pics.

That injen one looks ok- places the filter where I would want it- could poss use a dremmel to cut off and reverse the cold air feed to provide more air- then mibbe just fab some kind of heat shield to isolate it from engine temps?
