  1. MK3 SEAT Leon CUPRA's owner's register

Mk3/3.5 Leon Cupras dont have blind spot recognition available, you probably confused it with something else. for highbeam you need to have 'auto' on the lightswitch and then when driving you push the lightning stick forward and it should bring up an "A" or something like that on your digital dash.
  2. The first image of the all-new CUPRA Leon

I think it looks wonderful, the new interior is a huge upgrade compared to old one. The old one was terribly outdated compared to what is available nowadays. The front on the new one looks great aswell, I do prefer the old one from the back in general but the eHybrids bronze exhausts look...
  3. MK3 SEAT Leon CUPRA's owner's register

If you start looking at the Stinger as an realistic option, I am sure you could fish out a deal on the 3.3L engine, the one truly worth getting. Completely night and day between the two engines and the price difference is not that big either as far as I know. From what I've understood the...
  4. MK3 SEAT Leon CUPRA's owner's register

I still get a small tingle everytime I see a Leon FR (very common in Estonia) and a really big tingle when I see a Cupra, so I'll always remain a lurker around here haha
  5. MK3 SEAT Leon CUPRA's owner's register

I think the car differentiates noticeably from cars like the Cupra. It is a grand tourer rather than a hardcore sports car. I compared it with a friends' Leon Cupra 300 4drive side-to-side when I first went on a test run with it. It suits my size (6ft6, 22 stone) alot better also. The Cupra is a...
  6. MK3 SEAT Leon CUPRA's owner's register

After my failed Cupra purchase (came with wrong options, couldnt be bothered to wait for another one) I went for a Kia Stinger with a twin turbo 3.3 V6.... so honestly I am gonna ride the big engine & turbos for how long I can. The newer hybrids that Mercedes for example is moving towards are...
  7. MK3 SEAT Leon CUPRA's owner's register

Honestly, I don't understand how you still have decided to stick with the Seat, considering the huge delays, the car is not that special. There are plenty of better alternatives out there. The level of customer service provided by SEAT both in Europe and especially in the UK is absolutely...
  8. CUPRA Ateca owner's register

Nearly 4 months have passed. How is the change from Leon 300 to Ateca going? I had a Leon ST ordered but since the factory messed it up with not adding some optional extras that were ordered, we are looking into how much they can compensate on an Ateca and the wait time that comes with it.
  9. MK3 SEAT Leon CUPRA's owner's register

Ordered mine at the end of July, was produced on wednesday, going on a ship on 8th of october to Finland and then will arrive in Estonia either 24th or 31st of October. Pretty satisfied as the original due date was +1 month, in the end of november. Suppose not being affected by brexit is an...
  10. Discounts on Cupra Ateca

When I was choosing between a new Leon Cupra or the Ateca my dealer explained why they can't give proper discounts on Atecas. His understanding was that Cupra in general does not want to boost Ateca sales numbers noticeably before the Formentor is out therefore they are not given too many...
  11. DSG paddle extensions

Do you have a comparison pic available with the regular ones? Both unattached? These look awesome!
  12. MK3 SEAT Leon CUPRA's owner's register

I don't know about the UK but for LHD cars in EU there weren't too many changes for Leon, main one was something like a new color being available for speccing. Lack of significant updates also makes sense because of the upcoming MK4.
  13. MK3 SEAT Leon CUPRA's owner's register

My dealer told me that all production weeks starting from W29 or W30, cant remember which, will come as MY20 so yours should be aswell.
  14. The ultimate front splitter thread

And I suppose with the nordic climate of Estonia & Finland, fibreglass is also more suspectible to climate related effects on it? Not to mention the wintery roads that includes uneven ice and snow Reccon that is enough to seal the deal that I will avoid fibreglass.
  15. The ultimate front splitter thread

Looks pretty badass! Whats the difference in material between ABS plastic and fiberglass when it comes to these sort of pieces? Saw TRC ones look cool but their made of fiberglass and seem to be at a cheaper price compared to Maxton that is ABS Plastic
  16. The ultimate front splitter thread

This front splitter thread has been immensely useful in planning for the upcoming Mk3.5 300 but I am wondering, does anyone have full before & after pictures of their cars, not only with the front splitter changed but also perhaps the side skirts and rear spoiler? Thinking of going for a pretty...
  17. Cupra front and rear badge replacements

Would make sense, much like Hyundai has N line for their regular I30 and then the I 30 N sporty engined cars too.
  18. New Leon mk4 thoughts

What I've understood is that the way they are sold in the UK and rest of EU differs, as well as the models differ in their possible options as well, UK has a dumbed down version. We pretty much have the standard cupra 300 4drive and then it is possible to add a bunch of extras, some bigger, some...
  19. New Leon mk4 thoughts

I took everything except leather seats (because they are slippy) and stayed with regular alcantara and DAB (because it isn't used in Estonia). The final price was about 29 000£ with about 13% discount from full price.
