I ran a vag-com diag and all tests passed, so I called out the AA they tested the battery and was fine. Then tested the started motor no power so the beast is now at seat as a suspected starter motor fail.

Hi all yesterday I was trying to a U turn in a really narrow road and as I attempted to go up a curb I slipped on the accelerator and the revs must have hit 4k or 5k and I stalled lol! Afterwards I drove up the road to find a turning point but could smell a really eggy smell and a burning smell...

Hi all I have a leak in the boot along a seem. The water is coming through behind the bumper and dropping through a seem in the boot as shown in the picture. As its a join would it be covered under the 10 year body/corrosion warranty do you think? as you can see the red arrow is pointing...

Throttle position sensor was an error that flagged up on my astra coupe. turned out to be a MAF issue! Replaced it all ok - might be different but id thought id mention it incase its similar

its very easy but you will most probably break a clip or two. You remove the screws in the handles and simply yank down on the cover until the trim pops off the metal skin. You will need someone to hold the boot lid open while your yanking down on the trim

How can you check to see if the mounts are shafted? As I would like to check mine being I now have 70k on the clock :S

I found the seal on doors completely rotted after removing the internal metal plate thingy. So I've now done the front two doors as the drivers door too had a rotted seal. Problem is now I cant get the smell of damp mould out of the car, I fabreezed it all but I guess time heals all wounds lol
