Main dealer servicing costs.....even you didn't laugh you would cry!!!

I had nothing but sh1te service from my Local SEAT Dealer, JCT600 in Rawdon, Leeds such that I sold my LCR and I have bought a BMW. They were rude, incompetent, had no idea of workmanship or that fact that the car they are working on is likely to be someone's "pride and joy", lacking in...

    mk1 cupra r vs mk2 cupra

Wouldn't surprise me at all if in a few years time there is a special edition Leon Cupra with the S3 claimed power output. If the"R" has officially been dropped then it could just be a rework of the current model. Two clowns/service desk people in my local SEAT dealer told me about there...

Tested - Remapped FR TDI v Civic Type R

LCR "feels" a lot faster than a CTR just due to the torque shove and the delivery. CTR is very progressive, great cars to drive on a deserted B Road but I agree probably a bit tiresome on the daily commute. I nearly bought one but the LCR sold itself with its effortless pace. :)

    Scratched LCR

If I was inclined towards facism, and felt that corporal punishment was acceptable i would say that people who "key" cars deserve no less than the death penalty.

    What to do...?

I'd be a bit miffed with the garage to be fair. They have given you false information about the car you've bought. Was it a SEAT dealer?

Heel and toe in new Cupra?

Perfectly easy to heel n toe in an LCR. Your foot is on the clutch when you do it so you can brake and blip the accelerator at the same time. Try it stationary, clutch in, foot on the brake and catch the throttle with the outside of your foot, you'll see the revs rise. As far as I know...

****ing salesmen. He wants shooting for telling you all that. When I bought mine the salesmen told me to "always press the traction control button to turn it on". He says "it's lethal in the wet unless you PRESS the button before you set off so the light is on the dash". Nice bit of...
