Speed-FReek, I don't suppose you've information on how to remove the auto gear lever surround to do this stripdown? I have tugged away at it, and tried using a credit card as a wedge but nothing wanted to shift.

My old mk3 SE took us to France, Belgium, Germany on two separate occasions. It even survived a trip around the Nurburgring!

Your dealer can put the reg number in and (via parts dept I think) print off a data sheet, they did that for my current Leon and showed all the toys the previous owner had specced.

The instructions in the video worked for me, but only for the oil change - when it was then due for a proper service it wouldn't let me. Maybe it's that?

Does anyone know if VCDS can change the length of time that the lane assistance works for (before you need to waggle the steering wheel)? It's currently set at 10-12 seconds before it cuts out, and you can't write a decent Facebook update in that short time ;) (Just kidding)

I've never seen my red light flash - even on the current one which had 5 miles of fuel in when I got it, and put 48 litres in. Maybe it's a later thing (mine have been 13MY and 14MY)

I did 28k (or thereabouts) in a year in my last Leon mk3, one minor rattle by the speedo and creaky suspension - both sorted first time round by the dealer.

I can understand your reasons for getting it, but that's not a colour i'd be choosing......

I read this earlier and found it a bit odd, as my old car was 102g/km and the latest one is now listed as 102g/km - I don't recall the 1.6 tdi dsg ever being under 100g/km though.

Just checked again, it is actually dimming but the effect is far less than the regular bulbs of the old car.
