    Depends which engine you are talking about. If the PD150 turbo is going on a longitude type engine then no its not a straight fit. But generally a golf/cupra pd150 turbo will go on a golf/cupra pd130 engine yes no problem. NETT (private joke with Virdi)

    Lol that old trick sounds like many cars i've seen on youtube. 255hp on a pd130 was on a stock engine internals inc head bolts.

    Mikey even if you use a larger turbo you need fuel. I must admit though i've never tried a larger turbo like a 2260 on stock nozzles. IIrc tdiclub user has exactly that so it would be nice to know his figures. On a pd130 the max I've seen is 255hp before the head started lifting (hard use though).

    Well i had a customers car that was meant to be making 235hp and when tested at surrey rolling road it made 195hp. I wont say the tuners name!! Anyways i dont really want to get in this. But if you understand how a pd works you'll know such high claims are not possible.

    The stop screw and rod length on a turbo play a big part in terms of lag etc. Do you get any errors on the ecu related to the cam? I've sent you a pm if you get stuck.

    Its followers can screw the cam. When you change the cam change the followers for the later black type use ONLY INA brand followers.

    I think most now know that stock nozzles with a vnt 17 hybrid even when pushed dont make much more than 225 to 230hp. The nozzles operate on crank angle via the pd lobes..if you keep them open for too long (duration) they will end up putting fuel in while the piston is on the way down thus...

    Thanks Alex the file has been checked and its def ok. The boost gauge shows approx 1.5 to 2 bar 4 bar inc atmosp ;) I'll clean the sensor and log again

    Yes stock rods - I've approx 5k with the ported headed etc but its been running 265hp for 30k In total i've got 173k No one that i know has bend rods on a pd engine with torque/power - more weaker are the main caps studs/bolts Cheers

    Im sure you'll be fine if the mapper knows what he's doing. You got a build thread? 2.4 bar is the upper limit for 2260. But i wont be running more than 2.2 (should be enough to keep the smoke down)

    You running a 2260? My turbo blew up at 2.7 bar. I ran 2.4 bar for 30k but with a ported head i've learnt you dont need that much boost as emps are too high at high rpm.
