Do we have any more news on the 2.0 TSI 190ish engine appearing in the UK Leon Mk4? It's gone very quiet again. Noticed you can spec the Ateca with this engine now, so I've not given up hope yet!

Am I correct in assuming that even on an indicated 'zero' battery level, if you put the car on a rolling road you will still achieve ~204PS Until I started reading these threads, I was also under the impression once the battery was almost empty it was game over, and you would come crashing back...

Good call on taking the car out for 20+ min drive. New battery installed, left it a couple of hours and took the car out on the motorway. Dash initially lit up like Blackpool Illuminations, very juddery drive first 5 mins. Followed by a DPF regen and lights went out. Car and driver are happy...

Forced regen, new pressure sensor, new injectors and wiring loom, washed and vacuumed. Car so much smoother to drive. Appears to have reduced (if not removed) a slight hesitation as turbo spooled up on occasion. Thanks for all your input :)

Drove to the dealers, both lights still on. Revs 750 rpm - stop start traffic. Pulled into the car park, DPF light goes out!! Still got the EML on. No way the DPF did a regen this morning (less than 4 miles). I await the verdict later this afternoon.

Mines in today having the injectors looked at (and I assume replaced).

Phoned around a couple of VAG specialists (Awesome, VW Centre St Helens) and both hinting DPF forced regen and pressure sesnsor and not to drive any great length due to both lights on. Quoted same price. Contacted SEAT IMG and enquired about injector recall (yes I'm on the list). Quote for regen...

Same year, same car, same noise. I never got to the bottom of it, other than low revs and accelerating. Hasnt been a problem.

Had a chat with an VAG specialist. Advised whilst I could still drive the car, it risks going beyond the point of no return (replacement DPF). As it stands suggested I only drive it to a garage due to the fact the EML light came on so quickly. So, I'm in the process of getting quotes for DPF...

Update: Had to move cars around on drive. Started Leon, 1k rpm revs, DPF & Engine Management lights ON and the following message of the MFD: "Diesel Particulate (sp?) Filter Instructions" Oh, and my daughter isn't well...but that's a different story! Left car on drive for now. Is this...

Original injectors at the moment. Having read the thread it explains why I kept stalling a few months ago. Put it down to "user error" now I'm not so sure. It's on my 'to do' list this month. Engine code BMN. I've not been officially advised to get them checked by SEAT yet.

/dev/null - I'll let you know. Worried about driving the car (especially if more than the DPF light comes on) and the shorter the driving distance, the more at ease I'd be! Cheers for now.

Thanks for the offer /dev/null - in normal circumstances I'd jump at the offer. The only thing that concerns me is driving the car that distance and a second light comes on and then "init 5" ( I really must bite the bullet and learn some Linux!) ... then I'm stuck " a bit of a trek" away :(

Hi All, Does anyone have VAG Com in the Warrington / North West area with experience of checking current soot level and doing a forced DPF on an '08 Leon PD170? My DPF light has come on for the first time and I can't clear it (see my other thread). Ideally one evening ASAP? Happy to cover...
