So does the 170Bhp 2.0 CR TDI in the Facelift FR appear to be a good bit more economical that the older 2.0 170 PD unit? Also interesting to see the mileage of cars with Stage 1 remaps. They seem like they are getting better mpg when remapped. (ofcourse driving type and style are still huge...

That's motivation. lol It really could do with getting remapped, to a nice progressive map to get rid of the lag and smooth out the torque delivery.

Well I could always do the sensible thing and just remap the cupra and put in some decent suspension. Then concentrate more on my mk2 golf gti and making it go and handle as good as possible. It's definitely not a daily though, anytime I've been in it I've only been getting 21-24mpg lol, but...

I find due to the suspension being so crap on the bumpy roads over here that the wheel alignment is constantly getting knocked out and causes uneven tyre wear. Definitely have a good pull/shake on both of the front wheel's as you will be able to feel if the wheel bearings are out their way out...

lol, that's quite a respectable amount of smoke, and nothing compared to some of the 306 D-Turbo's about here with the turbo screwed right out and probably on red diesel too. It's a good pic, and looks like the only thing your missing to finish the car off is a spoiler.

The facelift actually looks better than I thought (i still haven't seen the front of one in person yet). Cupra front bumper looks alot better than the FR one too with those air vents and I like that spoiler too, is that standard on the cupra or do seat charge you for that like everything else?

I'm running Toyo Proxy T1R's, anything else I've tried up and around that price range are ditch finders. I find the handling is nose heavy with not enough feedback coming through the steering and seat. Turn in I think could do with being sharper too. It could just be that my mk2 golf gti is...

Anyone got a facelifted Leon in red (FR or Cupra)? Ideally with side-skirts and spoiler fitted? I haven't seen any real good shots of the facelifted model yet to help me decide if I like it or not?

Can't go wrong with either the Green or K&N cotton panel filters tbh. I have a K&N filter on my Cupra TDI and had it on my FR TDI before that and it did make a difference. Some people say the Green filter flow's 'abit' better than the K&N one but I'd say there's probably very little in it.

Anything sub 100k mileage goes for daft money, or if it's sensibly priced it's sold within a day or two. Missed out on a 1991 oak green 16v with recaro seats that had only 89k on the clock as it was sold within a couple of days.

I swear the suspension in my Cupra doesn't actually absorb anything it just shakes everything attached to it apart. The alloys absorb more, as I found out a few days ago when I realized one of my rims was cracked. [:@]
