I agree. but electronics are more widely used by the japs on their performance cars than any german made motor.
The ESP and TC on our cars is very crude now compared to more modern cars
agree about switching it off but the biggest users and developers of electronic driving aids are actually japs. do you reckon an EVO or GTR would be half as quick without all the electronic aids
Lol. very good.
I had a similar scary moment after fitting my spacers. I thought i'd tightened the nuts up but after a couple of miles they were all loose. I could actually feel the rear end of the car squirming around.
the LC in standard guise is always listed as weighing 1289kg but I assume this is based on the early pre-02 leons which had the 16" rims and no side skirts facelift bumpers etc. I'd imagine the facelift version to be slightly heavier but there wont be much in it.
Here's the specs...
the fsd/eibach setup is great if your not after extreme lowering. I use mine as a daily and drive the family around in it, so coilovers weren't really an option.

get underneath and see if one of the exhaust brackets has sheered off. Its a very common fault on the oem exhausts. If you have an after market exhaust, Ignore everything I've just written. lol.

Think I'll have a go myself as money's very tight at the moment.
I've done the ball joints on an old golf caddy before and they were straight forward so shouldn't be to difficult.
Will just have to pay for the allignment :D
well seeing as the car has just done 109,000 miles I'm going to treat her to new ball joints and rod ends and alignment to hopefully tighten things up a bit.
How much should I expect to pay for that lot. ball park figure obviously.
