Thanks mate, that makes sence. I'll try excersising the flap that I'm 99% sure is at fault (the one that decided if air comes in for the outside or the inside :cool: ) Attacked it with a fresh mind this morning. Firstly hooked up VAGCOM to try and find the fault. Cleared the Auto HVAC...

Nope it's set to manual, it happens when it's been left for a while and then started up, the flap in the passenger footwell constantly adjusts itself until it gets "happy" when it behaves normally, in auto or manual mode. It's deff a problem, not climate control doing it's job. Stupid heap...

Argh I need some help with this! My climate control is blowing the air "on and off" at me at the moment. One second it's fine, blowing the air, and then it disapears, off, and then back again. It can continue like this for a while until it seems to sort itself out and then blows...

I'm locked in a bit of a battle with my local SEAT dealer about the immobilizer on my car at the moment. If you have/had a 6 clock Ibiza Sport TDi AND have had the immobilizer problems (refusing to start every now and again) - it seems the only fix is to have the cluster replaced, please post...

Doesn't look the same to me, looks like I have to drop a spanner down there and adjust that bolt on the tensioner to get it off? That thing in the middle of the picture.

Hi chaps, I need to change my air con compressor which I'm quite happy about doing, looks easy enough. The only bit I am worried about is slacking off the aux belt to get it off the compressor, can someone just quickly talk me through it? Cheers.

90k, Serviced recently (3-4k ago?), all new filters, new oil. VAG-COM brings back NO faults apart from a climate control flap one. Changed the CTS a little while a go - since then the temp gauge on the dash won't return to 50 (sits just above) but the car warms up fine - think the gauges...

My Sport TDi 130, when cruising around the 2k rpm make, I can't seem to make anything into the 50's on the MPG? For example, cruise control, 75-80MPH = 47MPG at the very most? 1.9 - 2.1k rpm 45 MPH in 4th, again, in the late 40's? just under 2k? Measured my expected MAF and actual MAF...
