Never got remap done as car was running lean. Tuner spent most of the day working on the car running logs and trying to get to the source of why it was so lean. He narrowed it down to the fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator. Car wasn't missing or running rough before I replaced the pump only...

Also changed the FPR and its still doin the same, running rough, popping/banging/misfiring on 2nd and 3rd gear at about 2500rpm. Anyone any ideas????

Would expect it to run a little leaner Scott but no tae the extreme where its backfiring/popping etc

Done various searches but not found anything..... Any guides on how to change the fuel pump on an LCR?

Am on the lookout for one as I think mine is faulty. My car is running dangerously lean on fuel so hoping the regulator is faulty and not fuel pump.

Does anyone know if the stock regulator on an LCR is 3 bar or 4? Also looking for part numbers aswell guys. Cheers Davie

I replaced cylinder 3 before christmas and number 1 went lastnight. Just waiting on 2 & 4 tae pop anytime!

Problem solved and fixed. As suggested it was the coilpack, I scanned it again this morn and it came up showing cylinder one. No tools needed neither tae to change over. Cheers guys

Will change the packs over once I get an allen key long enough to get to the bolts! Its still strange tho that its not showing any faults on the OBD reader I have...

Its running rough on tick over aswell, even just revving it, it sounds like a scooby. I have a spare coilpack i can change over, number 2 went about 3 months ago. whats the chances of it being the same one?
