  3. Exhaust Pressure Sensor failure AGAIN

last time I did over 500 miles before the dealer could get the car in and fortunately it never went into any "limp" mode, my DPF regen actually still appears to happen as the DPF light has gone out but the emissions light has stayed on (same as it did last time). I guess if the sensor fails to a...

is it true that one cure is for the dealer to upgrade ECU and that this actually ignores the input from the pressure sensor and Seat have used this to get around the known issues with this type of sensor. ? anyone?

  10. Oulton Park BTCC Parking feeler *IMPORTANT*

I am happy with paying the fiver especially if some of it goes to Charity. HOWEVER make sure that if we are paying MSVR we had better get a damn good spot big enough for the number of cars PLUS the "hospitality " tent. Last years spot was good right in front of the Fogarty Moss centre at...
  11. Brands Hatch or Oulton Park?

  12. FR TDi Servicing Costs.....

Seat cars in the UK come with 3 year warranty. It is actually 2 year warranty (manufacturer) plus 1 year dealer warranty. I think if you use an independant VAT registered garage for servicing your first 2 years warranty are safe BUT you may lose the third year dealer warranty ....
  13. Any leaking problems???

Ah the underinflated understeer underpants problem....... underinflated front tyres can cause a bit of understeer that can result in a stain on the drivers seat  to be honest the FR seats can "draw" a bit in hot weather, check for a nasty niff

  18. Tyre choice

just put a set of 4 Toyo Proxes T1R on my FR TDI. They have transformed the car and show just how rubbish the standard Bridgestones were. The car now not only handles a lot better but also I get a lot less wheel spin when pulling away also the traction control light comes on far less. Just...

  20. Check out the state of my car after one day!!

Being a bit of an expert on Bird Doo Doo. It looks to have a redy blue tint to it. I bet you have some trees or bushes close by with lots of berries on. You definitely did the right thing washing it off, it will have a mixture of acetic and hydrochloric acid in it. Not so harmfull when its dry...
