The 125PS engine is the older chain driven engine, which was also available in twin charged form in a number of other VAG cars (140-180ish). The 150PS engine is a newer design, and is available in 140PS (without ACT) and 150PS with ACT. It has a cam belt, but it is supposed to last the life of...
Just discovered a new way to fold the mirrors. Not sure if this is common knowledge or not, but if you hold down the lock button on the key fob when removing the key from the ignition the mirrors fold.
In most cases, yes, but I'm sure I read somewhere that Tesco Momentum was partially biofuel to get the Octane rating up. I used to have a Volvo S40 T5 and it didn't run well on Tesco Momentum but was fine on the Shell and BP premium fuels.
They are on offer at Costco at the moment - going to try and get some tomorrow. The Michelin site doesn't list a part number for the rear though
Thanks Mark - will definitely have to look into that. Really sharpens up the front of the car. Would love to get my mirrors done as well as I didn't go for the Titanium pack, but think that might be a problem with them being so angular.
How did they manage with the front parking sensors?
I'm only about 10 mins from Custom Coats and am very tempted to do the same as you (also got a red FR).
Also, for anyone else interested it seems they have moved to new premises. Address now is:
Unit1, Elm Park
Larch Court

Mine's a 1.4 petrol. I pumped the tyres up earlier and ended up with the same figures you have, which are close enough to the numbers on the sticker. Not sure if the 1.8 has different recommended pressures, but I can take a picture of the sticker in the morning (when it is light) if it is of...
Thanks.
23/21 assuming my gauge is correct, but they don't appear underinflated at all. I'll dig out my pump and see if I can get some more air into them.
Anyone know what the tyre pressures should be for 18" wheels? The warning light came on in my car today, and on checking the pressures on all 4 wheels they are much lower than the numbers quoted under the petrol filler flap, but are the same on each side
Thanks Simon
