I had exactly the same issue, had to go to the Seat in the end to get rid of it. Apparently the numbers were stored in the car's directory. The tech at the dealer had to pair his phone up and then some how delete the numbers from the directory.

In that case put a paper one in and change it regularly, put the rest towards a remap. The torque improvement you get is immense. Would highly recommend it.
