Surely any half decent remap has overwritten the dodgy code to cheat the emissions system anyway.
I would only apply the upgrade if the car is stock.

Did fuse 14 blow for you to change it or did you replace it just to rule it out?
I remember I had something similar on my 19TDI FR - can't remember what the issue was. I will keep thinking.

Try this procedure:
1 - put driver window down.
2 - insert key in door lock
3 - twist to unlock and hold in position.
4 - with other paw unlock the car using the door panel button.
5 - release and remove key from door.
6 - test remote.

Dry top mount could be a possibility. Only way to diagnose is by getting someone to turn wheel back and forth while you crawl about listening/feeling for where it's coming from.

These products only increase exhaust temperatures so regeneration takes place sooner.

Was the MAF the reason for limp mode? My experience is that MAF's often look in good condition even though they are failing.
I guess you could unplug the MAF next time you have a stalling issue and see if it helps. If your engine runs better without the MAF plugged in I would suggest replacing...
Why did you clean the MAF out of interest? Did you feel like the MAF was dying so you cleaned it? What did you clean it with? Isopropanol Alcohol?
My thinking is a split hose or sensor problem. Also have a look under the manifold for split vac hoses.

Well that's it.
Car now sold so I can take ownership of my late old man's Audi.
Miss the Cupra already, such good fun and loved watching cars worth 3 times as much trying to keep up through the bends.

About a year ago my car started to make a new unwanted noise whenever I travel on an uneven/bumpy/potholed road.
Since the noise started it has passed two MOT's and I even took it to a garage who put it on their car shaker (no idea what its proper name is) and the mechanic...
We have just removed the genuine iPhone connector/lead from our mk2 Leon as we are selling the car.
Does anyone know what cars this will fit? It has a VW sticker on the unit so I presume it will fit a MK5 Golf and possibly Audi S3.....?
