About a year ago my car started to make a new unwanted noise whenever I travel on an uneven/bumpy/potholed road.
Since the noise started it has passed two MOT's and I even took it to a garage who put it on their car shaker (no idea what its proper name is) and the mechanic...
As per thread title;
Stage 1 revo lcr 225 2005, 60k.
Clutch started slipping in 6th gear.
Replacing clutch with oem parts as I'm looking to sell the car soon due to company car on the horizon.
Would you do flywheel or not?
Basically, is this a nightmare or is it simple?
I have the hook type spanner thing that I got with my KW's - AwesomeGTI set the height up when they fitted them but recently more and more high speed bumps seem to be appearing near my house.
Any tips / pictures would be a massive help...
Common problem is back again because of the cold weather.
I think my rear washer pipe clips are beyond weak now, seem to pop off when driving over speed-bumps..
Anyone found a permanent fix for these stupid clips? Glue the clips in place? Anymore weak points further into the car if I was...

I've had my Front & Rear Neuspeed ARBs fitted for ~28 months and recently started experiencing knocking from under the front somewhere.
It happens on uneven roads and when putting a wheel onto a painted roundabout that is raised slightly.

I'm currently trying to remove the inner metal door card to resolder my central locking units.
Does anyone know if the window should be up or down when trying to remove the metal door card?

After many winter months of central locking working then not working then working....
I am going to remove ones door cards and set to re-soldering the modules in hope they have split away from the PCB's (as many thousand MKIV Golf's did).

A week ago I ran into some problems with my Cupra R. Travelling down motorway and all of a sudden lost power, pulled over to check engine and couldn't see anything obvious. So I called AA people out as it was dark and I couldn't see much under bonnet.
