my 14otdi also had the same bracket fail. Noticed it by strange rattle when at idle. When I next took the engine cover off the rear bracket came with it.
As the metal had fractured there was not a realistic option of fixing it. I simply took the bracket off and binned it. Engine cover...
I'm planning to get the alignment sorted on my '06 TDi Sport (inner edge of rear tyres wearing very quickly).
Does the sport chassis have significant differences to the Stylance that it's based on that I should make sure the garage are aware of?
Guessing it's a camber problem -can the...
Just done this to my Leon. Came to £27 at leicester VW (always find them cheaper than leics seat or leics skoda!?).
Only slightly tricky bits were prising the old wiper off the spindle and making sure the new wiper was aligned correctly. For future reference I advise that you mark where the...
Looks like stickers are the way to go then.
Next question is where to stick them. An ancient escort I used to have had obvious marks on the headlights to show where to put the stickers but the leon has nothing. Have googled and can't find a fitting guide.
Look forward to any help

Is there an easy way to adjust the headlights for a trip to france in a couple of weeks? I'd prefer not to put the stickers on the headlights and I'm sure there must be a way to do it with the lights themselves.
Does anyone have experience of this and how do you go about doing it?
thanks...
search for my name, there was a big thread about this 18m ago or so (called "gas struts for bonnet" or similar)
Never actually got round to doing the mod though
I need a new pair of tyres for my 1.9 diesel. The 452 and 912 seem to get decent reviews but i'm undecided which is best for me.
I like the idea of assymetrics as if there is any uneven wear between the tyres I can rotate them without having to get them off the rims, are there any other...
had several bits of servicing done on my Skoda at DSB autocare in Bulwick, search on google for their details. Been very impressed with their service and they're good on price as well.
same happened tome - small stone lodged between the brake disc and the metal plate behind the disc - a bit of persuasion with a screwdriver and it was out
Well, what a dissapointment. Having read the reviews online and comments here I thought that the Exeo ST would be a good replacement for my Octavia estate (old version)
I admit that I didn't get to drive it (only arrived at the dealer the previous day) so it was just a sit-in and look...
would be interested in this as well.
When front tyres are at the recommended pressures they look underinflated but centre of tread is wearing quicker.
Have decreased the pressure slightly to try to sort out the wear by 1psi and handling's not changed noticeably but i'm not convinced that 1psi...
we've got a week old baby and she seems to love the jiggly ride in our tdi sport. it sends he to sleep far quicker than the softer ride in my work octavia
