in the summer i had to replace the gearbox as it was destroyed lol... so i got a second hand gear box which lasted all of 5 months before it died. i left the garage looking for another one (cheap one) and also went searching scrap yards etc. etc. in the area and nothing and after like 7weeks...

mine did it after i fitted the omp steering wheel, but that has no airbag so didnt let it worry me lol

when i took the policy out i had the mk2 and adrian flux wanted 2k for it and admiral did it for 1200 so went with them and as im 3months into policy im stuck with the price for the fr but at least its a drop

just looking at your RR thread and looks good like and nice ride (the one with two weels) i ride but 4X and downhill myself :)

ive had two crashed though which doesnt help and not 21 yet which does drop it a bit so next year at renawal time should be alot less and

my ins now is 1300 and im 20 with 1years NCB so will drop to about 1100 with the mk4 i think im gunna go book some test drives at weekend:) and 177 and 60+mpg :| :| thats mad i do mostly dualcarageway driving like to work etc so that sounds great who did you map?

the candy white is LUSH but yeah i agree hard to find might have to settle for another colour... and the mk2 was first real car as had the 1.2 ibiza and before that had a 1.2 corsa c which were ok but wanted more power but with power comes responsibility lols but i do love the mk4 looks

yeah im well surprised on the figures ive been looking at online etc. for economy and with maps etc the gains you can get but then 130bhp standard isnt huge for a 1.9 diesel compared to the other dervs in the vag range. but looked at insurance and will be a drop from my 96 mk2 of £198 by moving...

im looking at going back to a MK4 as i used to have a 2003 MK4 petrol but only the 1.2 then moved to a 1.8 16v mk2 for more power but its not very reliable and really has a thirst for optimax :(. so im looking at moving back the mk4 and going for a diesel :D. what are these like? and also...
