So how much lower is the FR suspension compared to that of a regular Ibiza? I know my Sport's suspension is 15mm lower. I'm now getting FR wheels (for my Cordoba) and wondering what the car will look like compared to an FR Ibiza.

Yup. We get tyre stud and stone showers on motorways in the winter and spring. I'm afraid it'll get hit next winter again, if I replace it. And I'd lose the German and Austrian souvenir stickers, too. ;) Oh well, it won't pass the next inspection like that next year anymore.

They upgraded interior materials for the facelift model. Big improvement, upper dash and top surfaces of doors are softer material now.

Take it to the dealership or someone else who has VAG-COM. I'm sure it's just a setting somewhere that can be changed to l/100 km with VAG-COM.

Congrats. I really, really liked the FR 1.8T when I test drove one. Thank God my Cordoba has already badly depreciated, so I can't waste my money on an FR (that's too small and impractical for me anyway).

What were the old seats like then? These new ones are the same as in the old Sport but with different fabric. Did the old FR seats have anything other different than just the fabric?

I test drove the new FR 1.8T yesterday. Awesome car, and yes, the interior plastics are better now. The upper dash and the top surfaces of door cards have softer plastics now. And many of the hard plastics on the dash are painted dark metallic grey now.
