'snotty' finally gone to the big Yard.....all for the princely sum of £50
68k miles and one very rusty, tired looking shell complete with mouldy interior, cracked bumpers and even the GTi headlamps not salvageable, daughter managed to break every plastic mount on 'em!
hit a small wall at Doctors.....soooo glad we don't 'own' this car....
and a 30 sec wrapping session :D
at least we can get these sorted at same time....
as the Beat is now 99% finished & looks like 'snotty's' not returning yet....
I present to you my latest undertaking......one of France's finest (OK might be pushing it :D)...
Citroen Acadiane
real tarmac ripper...602cc. 32bhp

currently used as a shed...
looking like a strong engine for first time out in anger.
looks as though Chevy need to get their drafting act together, 3 fast cars, didn't quite go to plan.
..apparently 'snotty' passed his MOT again.
i've coughed up the insurance again, seen him twice in 12 months  although i may get him back July time
...not me, thats another Saga
what started out as replacing the Sub-woofer has turned into a project.
Sub was goosed & no replacement 4" to be had anywhere so next best thing, pull out & replace with conventional system. Easy right?
just to remove the 2 dash pods!
so plan is...
if some kind owner of an ST has 5 mins, any chance of letting me know these sizes please?

now we don't get Tax paid for, time for a few decisions me'thinks.
already parked up at M-in L's waiting MOT late next week, no panics, probably only done 500m since last year:rolleyes:
as it's worth next to sweet FA looks as though we're transferring ownership (on paper anyway) to daughter &...
no plans for modding, never say never though
to be sorted soon...discreet SCN decals, maybe front bumper lip matt Black & when weather picks up front bumper & D/S sills will be wrapped in clear vinyl ( OH is a bit 'ahem'...awkward getting in & out)
if so, any problems, niggles etc?
fuel economy as good as book says?
possibly looking at an ST with above engine as against a 140CR Altea SE
convince me......
the 'shed' may be going soon
change of direction possibly needed cars wise & 'snotty' will be the casualty.
may need to do a bit of tarting up though to pass him on which as most of you probably realise by now 'ain't my thing :headhurt:
need to sort these out first..
luckily...
do we blame the Spanish or German's ?
considering everyone on here seems a little biased towards superior SEAT build quality over ..lets say a French car ( cheap, plasticky, rattlty etc)...why after having to repair the heater flap control i am now left with 2 out of the 6 screws that hold the...
any reason why no auto available at all?
looking for a replacement to my C5, new 'Germanic' is winning at moment, but could have been swayed.
needs to be an Auto so OH can drive it, well so she thinks :)
