So after 2 years with my Sub 8 followed by 2 years with the 300 I decided I wanted a change and always had an itch to scratch with a 140i as I wanted that B58 for a while lol , after some hunting I managed to pick one up with pretty much the perfect spec for me with a Birds Dynamic pack...
Went up to Bognor motors and had a TVS stage 2+ tcu map to go with my Revo Stage 1 and its absolutely brilliant for me anyway , no more slight hesitation when pulling out of a junction etc and the shifts just feel lightning quick and strong but the best feature for me is the fact that I can...
I know its been touched on before but has anyone with a revo stage 1 had the tcu done as well ? Also would anyone recommend TVS to go with it instead of the revo map as I've heard good things about them ? Thanks in advance
Hi,
Just wanted to know if anyone has changed one and if its easy ? Have a slight suspension creak and think it might this but not 100% yet and was just thinking ahead, thanks for any pointers.
Hi ,
I know the Revo posts have been done before many times but just wanted to ask if the stock air filter and inlet pipe are fine to leave with a revo stage 1 map ? On another note i read somewhere that the vaq diff can be reset or even changed to the more aggressive setting the Cupra R comes...
Hi,
When my lights are on auto and come on it doesn't indicate on the dashboard for some reason as it did , if I flick on high beam it shows up with a Blue headlight sign but nothing in green when the lights are either in auto position or on , any ideas?
Just wanted to ask if anyone has swapped out there oem struts for these ? I've often thought that the original dampers can seem a bit crashy sometimes and thought in the past it could be improved and after reading some reviews they sound pretty good , I had a BMW a few years back and even though...
As im probably keeping my 300 im thinking about a res delete and just wanted to know if anyone has experience with these ? Also im sure I've seen a video online somewhere when you can open and close a butterfly valve from inside the car so the drone is more controllable?
Anyone else notice the second hand car market price rise ? I got mine a year ago with 8500 miles for just over 18k and a year later with 22k I can get £18500 on we buy any car and £19000 if I sold it privately lol , only problem being is everything else is higher you want to buy.
A friend of mine who works for Seat picked up my Cupra 300 yesterday to take it for a full service for me and left his Formentor to have a play with , really good car and the 4WD was great especially in the wet today , it was weird looking down the long bonnet and I didn't like the false pumped...
Ok if i keep the car im thinking of a stage 1 remap , I owned my Sub 8 for 2 years and now my 300 for 6 months and think it's time for more power , I'm not going to get the dsg map done straight away and just wanted to ask if there is much difference between the 2 as they are priced pretty much...
Hi
Is there any negatives to turning off auto stop/start with the Carista app? Only as I've read it changes the voltage and wanted to know if that then affected anything else i.e lights etc ?
I'm interested in your opinions on both these diffusers and if anyone has them fitted ? I have already got a Maxton front splitter but can't make my mind up on the rear even though they look pretty similar, any pics fitted would be good....
I'm thinking of getting one of these but can't make my mind up, I've got the Maxton front lip so should put one on the rear but I keep leaning towards the Reiger , any pics fitted would be good.....
I know it's been asked a 100 times before but does a i.e Revo/APR remap really make a big difference to stock and do you also need a dsg map at the same time ? I never got around to getting my Sub8 done but might look into getting my new one if I think its worth it , thanks for any input .
