When I picked up my mystery blue 300 it was sat next to one in desire red. I don't normally like red, but I will admit I was envious. Its a stunning colour in the flesh and would be my preference, if I could do it again.
I was having the same dilemma & decided spend just over £1,000 on upgrades, for which I got:
Revo & 4bar fpr = £540 for about 220bhp
Pagig FR pads & grooved discs all round = £490 incl fitting
Cupra R Interior = £100 (sold cupra interior for £100 less than cost of LCR interior)
Much...
Aye, they said the work was covered regardless of origin, if it has the crappy old coilpacks they are replaced with new modified ones :) .
My car is nearly 4 yrs old and cos it's an import is therefore nearly 2 years out of warranty.
Hope you are sorted now Pablo (deja vu)!!
Sorry to hear that Pablo. Mine were fitted (under warranty) at Westerham Garage yesterday and she flies like a bird once more. They fitted L model coilpacks which apparently have now been trouble free for 12 months.
Hope you get sorted today!!
Good news Pablo, I've managed to squeeze mine in for tomorrow. Dealers said they need to get confirmation from SEAT UK for it to be done under warranty, particularly as its an import. I'll know more tomorrow and will keep you posted.
Yesterday I suffered exactly the same symptoms as you, same age car except my engine warning light is showing :-o ..............spooky.
Spoke to my stealer and they say it sounds like coilpack and the earliest they can do it is next Monday :censored:.
Now I have no car for nearly a week...
I've had all my seats out and it's pretty easy. Firstly disconnect the battery so the side airbags don't go off.
It was some time ago so I can't be precise...................just have a route around it really is easy, the seats do just slide straight off the runners. There is a cover over...
I am aquiring some Cupra R Recaro's :D (front and back) and was just wondering if anyone has any experience or tips in removing the seats.
I assume the new ones will bolt straight in?
I've looked for a Haynes manual to help but there isn't one for the Leon.
