I've had issues with Android auto in multiple cars using Samsung or OnePlus devices, particularly Samsung. Anytime I use Google Pixels I don't encounter issues.

Thanks for checking it out! I think I have an issue - on the way to work this morning pressing the clutch turned off the system so it's gone back to its previous behaviour. Going to book it in with a dealer for a check to see if there's a fault code but the cruise still works.
