Hi Rob, i may still have a picture if i can find it i will post it up but there wasnt any excessive carbon build up, i had Steve @ Statllers do the work and he said it was pretty normal build up

I had the same issue with an idle missfile on cly4, i changed plus and coils etc but the fault was with the injector changed it on cly4 for a new one and this resolved the idle misfire, havent had one on idle since :)

No Mate not on a standard system with a decat, but iv herd a miltek straight pipe cupra that pops and bangs and sounds LOUD:rocker:

I have used the wheel specalist in birmingham went for a smoked chrome finish looks nice, they did a good job carnt fault them no flaking etc had the wheels done for about 2 years now! also might be worth asking them for a cash price *wink wink* will work out cheaper

Yeah similar issues really did a oil, filter and plugs change a while ago and now the other day got a bit of a hesitation at about 2-3k revs think its the plugs playing up so was thinking about trying the Cupra R plugs do you have a link to the thread at all?

just having a new issues with plugs at the moment but just had a thought if any one knew if the new Cupra R plugs would work in a 2007 Pre FL Cupra Thanks :)

Yup thats right Al, RR on various dynos awesome gti, performance tourqe and a dyno jet (i think thats the one were they mount the dyno to the wheel hub) made similar power you quoted above :)
