Hi All, I am considering a facelift Mk3 Leon 1.4 TSI DSG as a replacement for my Exeo ST, are there any major issues to look out for with the 1.4 (150) TSI model and the DSG gearbox?

I have a 2011 143 Sport Tech estate which over the 100k miles I have owned it, has averaged just shy of 50 mpg, the car read out always displays more though. Most of that mileage was done driving to / from North East Scotland to North East England, with some town driving.

I own a 2011 ST Sport Tech which unfortunately does not have heated seats, does anyone know if it is possible to fit a set of Seat Exeo heated seats along with the matching heater controls and everything would work? Or would it require some fitting of additional wiring etc? Thanks

The car as standard is listed with a 91 load rating, its more to see if going to a 94 would affect anything.

Is there a noticeable difference in ride going from a 91 rated tyre to a 94 rated tyre? Reason I ask is the tyre I am looking at is roughly £50 cheaper per tyre for the higher load rating!

Well my issue appears to have solved itself......for now.......the engine management light disappeared by itself and has not returned (not to say the problem wont come back)

Recently my car has thrown up an engine management light, I have scanned for fault codes which has come back with P2196 & P2196b which would appear to relate to the O2 sensor, given I cant get the car booked in for any work for weeks (the car has an extended warranty) are there any issues...

Doesn't look like any people in Europe will be getting compensation!

The car is booked in for the timing belt and water pump tomorrow, and an interval service (oil change), despite being on longlife oil and having covered 10k mainly motorway miles in the 6 months since its last service.

Thanks for that, it seems low mileage for the timing belt but it is at the usual 5 year mark so I guess its best to play it safe and have it changed.

Just trying to make sense of the service intervals for my 2011 Exeo ST 2.0 TDI, my last service was at 34k (6 months ago) where the oil was changed with longlife oil, in the service book the next service is due at 44k which the car is at now and will require a timing belt, should anything else...

What is the problem with the Pioneer head unit?

So I would need an aerial which will do FM/AM DAB and GPS, then have the little DAB box fitted as well. roughly £200 and a bit of faffing around. The other option is to just upgrade to a new head unit but the Pioneer headunit I like is £620.....

Did you manage to fit this in place of the little shark fin or as well as?

I am looking to fit some sort of DAB device to my Exeo ST, has anyone fitted a DAB upgrade to the RNSE, something like the Alpine EZi-DAB kit? What aerial options did you go for? Thanks Adam
