I did a gbox change on my old 1.4 the gear linkage rod is a pain in the backside and takes a lot of fiddling around and very precise adjustment to get it right, i had to get someone else to do it because i didnt have the patience. Hope this helps

Hi guys, as some of you might know already, I got rid of the 1.4 a few months ago and regreted it straight away, but now I have just purchased a 2.0 8v mk2 ibiza gti cupra sport ;) Not sure what im going to do with it yet, probably just lower, wheels and clean. Will keep you posted...

Hello guys, been a long long time, just a quick question. Will an ABF door and front wing (3 door) fit on the 1.4? Im pretty sure im just being stupid as I know it will but I would just like some confirmation :) cheers :)

Quick update, OEM++++++++++ is coming along, got a new gaiter for the handbrake as the old one was worn away, some red lights fo behind the dash as I currently have blue ones, down and out stickers are gone as Im currently not down and out :) a shiny polished exhaust manifold heatshield is about...

I have had to do my pedal box twice now, due to the standard box I bought from the dealer being about as structuraly sound as a flip flop. My current box has been seam welded up a good'n I just used a chisel and drill (with various metal drill bits) took me about twenty minutes to get them off...

From what I remember I think that only one end will fit, Ie the back or the front. But I cant remember what one it is (but don't quote me on this). Need someone who knows more about it to answer your question :)

Do mk2's have an equivalent of a MAP sensor? My Sister had this same issue in her matiz turned out to be a MAP sensor Just an idea?

Actually Arun I think you will find Haynes manual clearly states its for optional solid rocket boosters to come out of the sides of the doors and go pew pew :funk: But on a serious note it sounds like CD changer ;)
