Yeah that sounds like my car. I did the Miltek cat back, (I have the Miltek link pipe if you haven't already completed the system) and also the H&R springs. Yeah, the bottom was gloss black and actually the gear knob was a standard Leon type originally. After 8 months of looking I found a small...
I take it those were on the car when you got it? If so, it makes me think this was my old Cupra R I sold in December 2016.
I say this because mine had a sunroof and they are I never saw another one with one while I owned the car.
Don't suppose the Original reg started with OV ?
if you are trying to get the max MPG out then you should start with only running 50% of the fuel capacity in your tank or less as it's saves a considerable amount of weight.
Make sure the windows are closed, manage your speed on inclines / declines.
I'm running a Cupra R and get 31-33mpg on a...
Ive got the H&R springs on my Cupra R. I also felt after the drop that the standard light height was a fraction low!
Ive just gone outside to start the car to see what the lights do.
Turn ignition on, lights come on
Start car, lights drop down, then they do the outside to inside / left to right...
Sorry, been busy enjoying the car so not been on here much :)
Yes these are 19" alloys
No they are not sport lines, they are H&R springs.
I don't have the part number, they were supplied and fitted by a local specialist. Springs were about £220 and then there was about 3.5 hrs of labour...
So I finally got around to getting some 30mm H&R springs fitted this week. I've done about 100miles on them now and I can honestly say the difference is night and day!
The feel is firmer, yet more forgiving! It's weird but must be down to the spring rate and rebound. You feel more of the road...
just get a custom pipe made if you want a quad setup. I doubt you will find an off the shelf system as the above pic. You don't even need a rear box.
What does your exhaust look like now? Got a pic of the back of your car?
My Cupra R has also just started doing the same thing but only in 6th gear it would appear (for now). It's only done 24k miles. It's booked in for a service at Seat on Friday so I will be asking some questions!
My previous Mk1 FR+ did it after 11k miles. I managed to do another 55k of...
Got some H&R springs (30mm) fitted on the Cupra R yesterday. Had do some miles last night (about 60miles) all country roads and all I can say i why did I wait a year!! They really do transform the car!
I'll let you know once they are scrubbed in. Only just driven home in them.
I've had the Asymmetrics on my previous Leon and they were excellent.
I've gone with these as road noise is apparently better and the sidewalls are slightly softer. I'm hoping for a slightly more pleasant experience...
Would be nice! I was hoping for a slightly better response as I'm sure there are loads of people running springs and spacers on the Facelift cupra / cupra r!
IF i can't get definitive help on here I'm going to have to bite the bullet and just order the 15mm for the rear and hope not to have...
Mine had the Pirelli's on when I bought them. Granted there was only 2-3mm left but I thought they were awful. I've ordered a set of Uniroyal rain sport 3's as a few guys recommend them highly.

Well, after seeing that handbrake leather I can confidently say I won't be doing that! As rob pointed out.... It's a penis.
