  1. Heated washer nozzles

My Exeo CR diesel Sport 143 needs heated nozzles. I don't want to get the whole Winter Pack (even if it can be retrofitted). Has anyone got these, and if so, how can I obtain them on their own? Cheers - Happy Christmas. By the way my 09 reg has now done 23000 - all is fine, av 48.4 mpg...
  2. My new 1.4 TSI...

11000 miles up now and v impressive - apart from pick up from tickover which is less than smooth, and a bit snatchy on half acceleration at low revs. Sounds good and has settled to a steady 38-40mpg so far
  3. The Noddy Horn

Thanks Nath - I'm learning all the time. I'll follow this up.
  4. The Noddy Horn

My new 1.4 TSi Sport (going well at 600 miles and 43.4 mpg on today's trip to the seaside) has the undisputed title of worst SEAT horn I've had in 8 cars. My previous Tolly had a good'un. Has anyone replaced their 'poop'er with a 'parp'er? Is it easy?
  5. Age of Leon drivers

Sorry guys, but age is a definite benefit here. <£300 fully comp 2 named drivers for the Leon 1.4 TSI Sport. Well pleased.
  6. My new 1.4 TSI...

Thanks ChrisBoyle999 - I'll follow it up. Gotta have a minor rant sometimes:)
  7. My new 1.4 TSI...

1.4 TSI Sport - the first long journey A 260 mile Tyneside/South Yorks round trip today with 3 up and food on board. Supremely stable in high cross winds (well it is the North). Av 41.0 mpg which I'm v pleased with, as the car had only 100 miles on the clock at the start of journey. I'm sure...
  8. My new 1.4 TSI...

Sounds interesting. There's no doubt the engine will stand that and remain reliable - vis the existing 160bhp version. If I do it, I'd prbably go to Revo as they seem the most well-thought of - unless anyone knows different?????
  9. My new 1.4 TSI...

Got photos - will post in due course. 125bhp - but if you believe Revo they leave the factory at 130+.
  10. My new 1.4 TSI...

...in beautiful deep Ada Blue metallic was collected this morning - well, not quite new as it's a May 09 with 90 miles on - but for £12500 it's a steal + a really good trade in on my trusty 05 Toledo with 88k, so the dael wad done. First impressions are entirely positive - surprisingly good...
  11. Age of Leon drivers

So many of you guys seem to be in your 20s. Well I'm taking delivery of a 1.4 TSI Sport next week and I'm 59. I know it's not a Cupra, but it will go well enough for me, look good in dark Blue metallic, and my Toledo 2.0Tdi Sport was getting a little frumpy (fab car though just coming up to...
  12. 2.0 TDi oil leaks

Just had my 2005 Toledo 2.0TDi serviced (50000 miles and going well). The garage (non-franchise) reported oil on the sump tray, but no sign it had come from the filter. I must only have put 1 litre in in the last 10000, so a bit of a mystery. Car about to run out of warranty, so any ideas...
  13. iPod set-up for 2005 Toledo

Thanks for your detailed reply and great advice, John - much appreciated. I don't have the CD changer option on my Toledo (unless any connections are hidden behind the Radio/CD fascia) so I don't know if this will hamper me. If you could send some photos, that would be great. Not knowing...
  14. iPod set-up for 2005 Toledo

Happy New Year everyone! It's time I set up my Ipod properly for in-car use. I've done the FM frequency link with moderate success, and as I've now bought an iPod Classic with 80Gb space, it ought to have a good home in the car. I see Dension do a kit (and at the risk of asking the same...
  15. Yes, Ive bought a new Toledo UPDATE

Saul, Is the thumbs-up because you want me to become Hon Sec, or just because you agree with my sentiments? Rob
  16. Yes, Ive bought a new Toledo UPDATE

Yes, I've bought a new Toledo UPDATE Having now racked up a quick 4000 miles in the last 5 weeks of Toledo Tdi Sport ownership, I have to say that this is a great car. A piece of cake to get in and out of, great height for loading into the hatchback, for starters. A really light gearbox...

  18. Yes, I've bought a new Toledo!

Yes, I've bought a new Toledo! Guys - it's good to hear from you, and reassured that Streetkid and Googies are largely happy with their Toledos. Mine doesn't have the mp3 fitment either, but I seem to have got the radio/CD to produce some good sounds - it's good to have "mid" as well as bass...
  19. New Toledo. Should I buy it or not?

I've just bought one after 5 x Tollys between 1999 and this year. Most impressed so far - and you won't see many on the road. Be different!
  20. Yes, I've bought a new Toledo!

Having had 4 previous model Tollys (3 x V5s and 1 x 150hp diesel), I've bitten the bullet and moved on. I traded in my last V5 to my friendly local dealer who had a boatload of ex-SEAT management cars, so a Tdi Sport in metallic blue with 5000 miles is now mine for an extremely reasonable...
