Town driving around 28mpg, and on a motorway (drive to work) better but low-mid 40s (46mpg)
This is on a 2017 plate 35kmiles, But on a "spirited drive" - no one looks at the mpg!
Paid £270 from a Seat dealer all in. It was for a standard flip key with lock/unlock/boot open.
Then realised a few weeks later my home insurance would have covered it for £100 excess
Thanks guys, think im just going to go with when it breaks i'll get it looked at, as need my car daily for work so cant have warranty companies giving me the run around when things go wrong. Ideally would like manufacturer warranty but cant believe how much Seat a charging just for 1 year
Has anyone had much experience with taking out non manufacturer extended warranty i.e. warranty direct on a used car?
Im looking into buying a cupra (2016/17 plate) but going through Seat its going to cost nearly £800 p.year, whereas warranty direct im looking at £1K for 3 years.
I've been waiting for the 1.5 Tsi on the ibiza as well, and finally Seat UK contacted me last week, they said mid-Nov to end of Nov. they should have the 1.5 TSI open to order.....
Thanks for the replies, makes much more sense now!
Might end up just going for original Ibiza alloys saves a lot of time/hassle as hopefully should be a perfect fit, without spacers/bore holes etc.
Currently have a Mk4 FR, will standard FR 16" alloys. The tyres are 205/45/16, im looking for another alloy wheel pair as 2 are damaged.
Does anyone know which range of the VW/Audi alloys might fit?
Will it be a standard 16" alloys - as ive seen that not all Golf/A3 model alloys might fit...
