The GTB turbos are awesome - standard off the shelf turbo, no lag, strong boost, ultra reliable. But very expensive to install - custom manifold and downpipe and then you have to have custom piping from the turbo exit. Always get a new hybrid turbo. So many people have had problems with...

You'll end up with the turbo destroying itself via overspeeding the turbo. That boost is far too high for a standard PD150 turbo

Is it normal for a whistling sound from a MD376. boost is good and strong. Also have a 2.5" decat and exhaust, and fmic with alloy tubing, will this make it more pronounced?

The GTB turbos are normal turbos (not hybrids) so will work well off the shelf and last much longer - almost bullet proof.

Is it worth getting the MD376 over the MD374? Will there be extra lag? What is the difference between MD515 & MD376 as they produce same power but the MD515 is based on the PD160 turbo.

What is the condition of the lugs on the pipe going into the intercooler? Not sure how a jubilee clip is helping as the pipe is a push fit into the intercooler and secured with a clip?

No need to be..my PD130 is on 184,000 miles now...last 90k on a remap too. Standard turbo & clutch still.:D As said before it all depends on the quality of servicing (especially the oil).
