    I had instances in the past where i couldn't select 1st, 2nd or reverse with engine running and also couldn't disengage with engine running, fitted the shim and all better... Chances are that the complete thickness of the SMF verses the standard is probably out by a couple of mil...

    I get the exact same symptoms which is down to a faulty sensor, when I start the car my abs and tcs lights are permanent lit, disable the abs etc, when I clear the fault my abs engages just as coming to a stop, after a couple of times of it doing this the abs and tcs light back up, upon scanning...

    Definitely be a sensor or wire issue that plugs into sensor. Should have the abs and tcs light on dash.

    HOLY THREAD RESURECTION!!!! Does anyone know the size of bolts 1 and 2 for the dog bone mount, the ones which screw into the gearbox, I believe one is 30mm long and the other 70mm long but what 'M' size are they?

    it's cold at the moment, engine will take ages to warm up properly, especially driving round town, and in all fairness to get a semi accurate reading you should use a gallon of fuel to read MPG

    Best value for money is an S2000 air filter from Euro carparts or GSF, can pick them up for anything between 12-20 notes, remove the airbox and slip it straight on to the MAF, doesn't even need a jubilee clip as it's that tight but i fitted one just so it looked secure, various colors of filter...

    exactly what you have, didnt really do it before i fitted the dogbone, my mate has the yellow one fitted and he's OK so i'm going to fit it as well and see if it's any better

    Never heard of straight through pipe pulling oil through, was told that dervs dont have back pressure too??? had my straight through for years and other than it droning sometimes (down to Red poly bush dog bone mount) don't have any problems, 3" downpipe into 2.5" straight through Milltek...
