Sounds like its going into limp mode where it restricts power to protect the engine due to a fault. Connect up vagcom to find out what's wrong with it.

Sounds very much like it. Get it checked with vagcom and it will tell you which cylinder is misfiring.

Get a Bosch one, £65 exchange on Eurocarparts. One of those things you don't want a cheap copy of. :)

Yeah the standard one is actually a twin cat so there's lots of nice metal in there.

I think it was on the weight of the whole thing, then they look up the car and see how much of it is precious metal. And based on value and costs the will give you a price. It's worth a bit of haggling too.

Maybe the beeper is gone or the feature is probably just disabled in vagcom if that's possible.

Yes they really are useless on all Leons. And the symptoms you describe sound normal. Search for HID kit. There's a guide in the Leon section somewhere.

+1. What's the chances of a set of these coming up again in the next 6 months. Even if they do it won't be as cheap. Exhaust you can get anytime. If you don't want them then I will!
