  1. Cleaning headlights inside

Hey, I've not done it but from what I'm aware, if it's like most cars and specifically the 6L Ibiza, it's bumper off to remove the headlights, then when I've seen people modding their front lights, they actually put them in the oven for the bond between the body and plastic to soften up, you...
  2. Faulty Electrics (immobiliser issue)

You could, it would mean testing for the ignition live and possibly the constant live behind the clocks. Other option and less chopping is, if the fuse for the clocks just powers the clocks and nothing important, you could extended the wiring out of the fuse box and stick a switch (whilst still...

  6. cd player

The ignition live to the radio has blown by the sounds. Check the fuses again, it will be a 15 or 20 amp fuse usually. Get a test light tool, works wonders :D

  8. ibiza 130 tdi mk4 2002 airbag probs, please help i.d codes

Check the wiring is not caught in the mechanism under the seat. Trace it as far as you can. Mine was on and it was just due to the wiring being cut in seat mech. Youll need to reset the light once you fix of course, vag-com etc
  9. My first ibiza - project build thread

Looks very clean mate. As mentioned seats look amazing, never seen them before. What I would say is with it being a 1.4, unless you're always going to be happy with that power (Doubt it but maybe wrong) I'd only really do any mods that can come off easy, I'd personally leave the retrim alone, Do...

  15. gauges

The tray on top of the battery houses the busbars and flat fuses. The connections to them will be alsorts of heavy load items on your car. Sounds like there is crap stopping them conducting. If you're going to clean them, disconnect the earth first, then strip one at a time so they go back in...

If you have the standard kit they come with (or used to at least) the ISO "SOT" lead. Depending on your radio depends on where the mute is located if you want it to pause the CD etc and say mute/phone on your radio, it's not required however as the "SOT" cuts the speakers out and uses them for...
