Had a phone call this morning from a senior manager. He described it as a **** up and they’re going to do the service FOC as a gesture of good will.
Cars in on 4th Feb so hopefully my faith will be restored.
Cheers Matt - thought I was right.
Sad thing is the previous dealer I phoned told me my car didn’t need the Haldex servicing as it didn’t even have one. Dispair!!!
Hi,
Interesting one this. Had my 2015 Seat Leon X-perience 2.0 184 DSG in for service today at Seat. I wanted the Haldex servicing as it’s a fairly rare model with the four wheel drive.
I went to collect it to be told the Haldex is a sealed unit and whilst there’s a drain plug they said there...
I have front LED headlights but standard bulb fogs. Rear parking sensors only.
I turned them on using Carista and works perfectly. They both come on when selecting reverse as well.
If edge my bets at an airlock as well. Whilst it may look as though coolants topped up there may be parts of the engine that don't have coolant in them.
I recently bought an LED DRL kit for my wifes car from Crewe Seat and both the sales and technician I spoke with were spot on. The wife didn't really want them but think she likes them now they're fitted.
By the sounds the switch isn't actually staying switched after you press it. When you're pressing it the circuit is broken and the system deactivates but as soon as you release the pressure it closes the circuit and turns it on. Makes sense in mind and also why no fault light.
Quick question. My wife has just bought a 3 year old Ibiza 2.0 FR (2011) with 25k on the clock. Looking at the service book it says 130,000 miles for the timing belt which seems excessive. Can anyone offer any further advice on this and of its correct? Thanks.
