Try starting with the simple & cheaper things first .. What condition / age are the plugs ? & are they gapped correctly ?? If your running higher boost, Some tuners advise a reduced gap... Also reducing the gap & then trying the vehicle to see if the misfire/stutter has lessend, will help...

You could fit a silicon hose as a replacement & have the hose fit over the intercooler outlet, trouble is, as you know, they are plastic :( So you are limited to how much clamping pressure you can apply. You could bond the hose on, But again, It's a bit Heath Robinson & how long would it last...
