Hi Rob, just snooping around on here! Yeh, p/exed the Cupra for an Evo X paddle-shift in a mad moment! Guess I got tired of traction issues with the fwd..... Can't complain of that now! The car takes the p!ss from a standing start and haven't come close to the limit on the road yet! Tweaked it...

Have you got wider wheels fitted? Mine did the same with 245's on, not rubbing on anything but upset the geometry on full lock, sounded like a cv joint gone but was the tyre "skipping", went when I put std wheels/tyres back on.......

07 Cupra Stage 2+ for 10,000 miles, not a single blip! Now sold and missing the power! (New wheels= Evo X 330 SST, WILL be breathed on!)

I'd give the Toyo R1R a go personally, I had 888r's on for a couple of thousand miles, unbelievable grip wet or dry, no wheelspin in 2nd gear in the dry, just not reccomended for standing water due to the tread pattern. R1R's as I understand are the same basic tyre with a tread pattern suited...

Yeh, they get great reviews and although a fair hike its in some really nice countryside so worth it!

Had a 20 min drive to start with and was underwhelmed! Went back and had a 45 min drive to explore the car and box, what a difference, as you say, no turbo hit like the Cupra, much more linear but the grip/handling is superb. The way the box works once you're used to it is nothing short of...

330 with paddle shift! Yeh, stage 1 on the cards already, 380hp.... cant go more or its mega bucks for the g/box to be uprated:(

Well I liked mine, moot point re the cooling (its deeper but narrower) Couldn't make my mind up tho, so did swap it a few times! Going saturday (car not number)
