The start of many little things for my car has now ended..
I sold up and bought a 1989 honda crx because I firstly wanted more power - and to be able to do more modifications that are worth while - and not totally kill me on insurance or buying the car.. And I like the crx...
Maybe when i...
you mean adapter plates?...
SAK-3105 - Seat Ibiza, Cordoba is the one you needs i think - ## Allows 165mm (16.5cm) speaker to be fitted into original position
Search ebay/google shopping for it :)
i would also say, if the interior door handles are a bit worn, n the plastic is peeling off- sand em down and give em a re spray... pretty cheap - and looks alot nicer..
Righttttt. Well my front components and their own amp are all fitted.. Didn't have any problems with fitting it all really.. was impressed with the tweeters - they managed to fit in to the original position.. Looks completely standard in my car, except the amp which is drilled to the seat in...
Ok... a power... Wouldnt have thought it needs a power as its running off the headunit like most other connectors that go through the cd changer.. but assuming so, kris, yea that should work - its aready wired for you (i dunno which is the power though)..
If it works, please post and help out...
pretty sure thats an earth then.. pop down halfords - and ask them for some advice with regards to extending the cable.. you'd only need cheap stuff to extend it.. even spare speaker cable would do the job (i guess, aslong as its a tight connection - taped(possibly soldered) well and wont come...
Hmm... Right, well what else would that cable be?... Call CarAudioSecurity and ask - they should be able to tell you.. If it is an earth - then your gunna have to find somewhere else to put it to..I put mine through to under the bonnet...
And someone called Bowen did this i believe - as he...
I would assume you earth it..
Attach it to the center thing behind the headunit (under the rubber... I think this is an appropriate earth, I myself haven't used it but others have....)
Sorry if its been covered - please give me a link straight away if it has :) or tell me the correct search criteria!!
Just wondering if anyone can tell me where the clips are around the front door trim - just so i know where to put the old flatheaded screw driver without breaking the clips...
Yea I have thought about it, but don't know if I can justify spending even more money on my car..I don't hav 200quid going spare, cos it keeps breaking lol..and I don't think anyone would buy it for what I've spent on it..going to upgrade in 2or3 years :)
Right, well - havent updated this really!! going to do my component/amp soon so will maybe get a few pics of that on the go (within the next few weeks)... and the good old exhaust is broken, so need a new middle section and backbox too! :( may end up just getting the standard ones.. costs me 160...
hehe thats pretty cool.. although its a bright yellow - would this fit in the blue slot ??.. I dunno, would be only one way to find out! give us feedback..
all of the cheaper accesories u cant use the headunit.. u would always be able 2 use thru the ipod!!! (i dont know if this is a downside...
ahh lol bonus for you, well! i dont have an ipod so didnt notice that :D
your live could be fed left down through the little hole and up to the battery..Or pair it off from the live to the radio...
and the black earth, just to the center screw on the back of the radio...
although - im not...
the 7.50 one?...
1. doesnt control through headunit - only through the mp3 player controls
2. Doesnt look like there is a live on it that you need to connect seperately - looks to be ajust set of red/black phono cables...
would require plugging in the blue thing, getting a male phono...
