I had thought about that but then I have heard that they will either totally undervalue it or overvalue it and then try and knock you down on price when you get there.
Hi all,
It’s possible that due to a change in circumstances (damn recession) that I may be forced to part with my Leon and I was wondering if you could give me an opinion on what it would be worth? It is an 07 plate 2.0tdi Stylance DSG with the sports pack. I have added the arm rest, sports...
My passenger one isn't working either even after it went into the Dealers to get them both fixed. I am going to chuck it back to them to fix it for me.
I got my mark 1 Cupra at 23 and my insurance was £800 with 2 years no claims. The price will come down rapidly with a little bit of age and a couple of years no claims. I would say wait a year or two and then buy and it will save you thousands of pounds.
I know its tough to wait though.
Its quite ironic that this has appeared today as I have changed mine today. Mine is a DSG and it was so easy. I am completely non mechnically minded but following the guide on the FAQ thread it was so easy.
I got the parts from VAGparts. It cost me £80.
Check out some of the Internet brokers. There are quite a few mentioned on here already. The likes of drivethedeal, the deal negotiators and Autoworld will give you a much better deal. I think that there is a Seat specific one out there somewhere too.
I will guarantee that with a few...
Its £50 from Seat but Seremotors can do it cheaper.
It is 6 pieces of trim which stick over what is there. If you are buying new from Seat then I would get them to fit it for you for free.
What exactly is included in the deal?
It isn't more than a few hundred off list. For example a brand new TDI FR with Metallic Paint, 18 inch alloys, Bluetooth, Convenience pack, ipod connection, rear side airbags and Winter pack is £17,910.
Well I am still not getting great consumption. I have to admit though that I do drive a 7 mile journey to and from work in the City traffic so it really isn't a good one for fuel consumption. Today I got 27 mpg on the way home :(
The computer is saying that I will get about 440 miles out of...
Hi all,
I was thinking about where to store my sunglasses (not that I need them much) and did a search and there was one thread about how someone had installed a Golf sunglasses holder in their Car. Has anyone else also done this as it sounds like a good idea to me?
I have found the part...
The 2.0 tdi is a far superior engine to the 1.9tdi so definitely worth the extra money. As for the Warranty it should come with the balance of the 36 month warranty so if the Car is 33 months old then it is correct. Having said that if they are selling it through the official Seat used car deal...
The latest brochure was printed in August. I got it from Bristol Seat when I went in there for a test drive but the one they had sent me a week earlier through the post was the older one.
The lastest one has the Sport in as well as the Ecomotive and the Emocion.
Its on the website too...
Hi and welcome.
I would say that the deal seems like a pretty good one. Car prices are just plummeting now and I had to accept a lot less for my Car when I traded it in for my Leon. It was annoying but you just have to put it out of your head. You could keep trying to sell it but then you...
Yeah it is a 2.0 tdi DSG. According to my computer I am now averaing 32mpg in the 95 miles since I have bought it. 35 of them were down the motorway and 70mph but the rest have been around town with varying degrees of traffic.
I am beginning to wonder if maybe the computer is just really...
Right I have got my 2.0 TDI now and I am worried about my fuel consumption too. I have only had it a few days but I am averaging less than 30mpg and I have barely driven it hard!
Today around town I got 22.8mpg on the way home. It was a stop start town drive but that is pretty bad. The Car is...
