i'm nursing mine too... if you are keeping standard power, then standard clutch is ok, mine has done over 80k
if you are going to remap the car, i think you would destroy a standard clutch pretty quickly
thats the bit, should be able to get one cheaper though than that - have a look around
the transponder with it will be blank - this cannot be coded with the car, so would need to be programmed by a specialist/dealer - or may be possible on vag.com
just dont break your existing one :)
your current main remote key should have a product code and mhz rating on its outer casing - this isn't really that important though
there is no rubber on your current spare if i remember correctly, the glass cyclinder is what you need.. get a small screw driver and work at the glue around...
bloody hell have you got a leak.. or you just driving clarkson style everywhere? i wouldnt have thought the injectors were big enough on a 1.2 to get through fuel that fast!
i hardly ever get less than 40mpg on a journey, even if i've been flooring it as i always chill out for the last few miles
this morning i was in no hurry to work and managed 56mpg on the motorway
