Agree mate, i have a piper and it sounds the nutts dont think il change it, only a cat back but best one ive heard, just need a dp and sports cat now :)
Mine does the same mate, my old lcr never did it, but this one does, i think its down to my FMIC as once the fan sucks air through its fine again, im actually happy the fan is cutting in doing its job. It does it in traffic too but once on the move its sound.
You wont snap the e14 torx bolts, jutst a higher chance of rounding the heads off, providing no one has used loctite or same bolts again with a strong arm they should crack off, when you re-assemble use new gasket and bolts or it will blow like feck. Also some times the collar in the turbo comes...
The flexi is on a banjo fitment, and then goes to a hardpipe on the rear beam, you can clamp the flexi anywhere, closer to the caliper the better, but it will still need bleeding once done.
Looking good mate, remeber when i did a rear caliper on one, winding for ages to get the piston to start. Mine was leaking from back seal at the handbrake cable, worth replacing if you have a seal kit for the caliper, undo 13mm nut and it pushes in.
Take it you mean cutting out when letting off the accelerator when coming to a stop? or just on idle? Bit vauge with description. Hopefully who ever it is with if there a VAG specialist then should be able to fix the problem.
Turbo mounting bolts are E14, female torx, usually round if they havent been off for a while try it when there hot and use a breaker bar then when there loose let them cool and t ake them out.
I dont think theres any red behind lol, took about 3 hours minus drying time and that, also i used 2pac paint and just sealed the decals with a dusting of lacquer so i dbout they will peal for a long time.

I test drove a stage 3 vxr and it was awesome much better drive than old and new leon, i recon a rear arb on the vxr and its equally as good handeling as good as the k1 but its everyones opinion :)
